Blog post ten

I finally have my casts off! I still felt very wobbly. But I was really stretched out in my calf and heal. So then to keep from going on my toes again I have orthopedic boots. They are very uncomfortable! When they are off my legs. On Friday they gave me new night-night boots.

Blog post nine my favorite casts cammo

I was the first person at University Hospital to get cammo casts! They were the coolest cast ever! When I got them cut off all the other kids waiting to get there casts done wanted them also.

Blog post eight dark blue and orange

I really tear my casts up. They get really dirty. I have gone through two boots now. My mom keeps trying to sew them together. That lasted for about two days. Then they fell apart again. This is my cast off. It's really dirty.

Blog post seven neon green and light blue

When I got neon green and light blue this was the third cast. I was waiting for Dr. Anderson to come put my new cast on. There was someone screaming, it was about one hour. I don't think that person ever had casts cut off. Again it's not that bad! I wished I could have helped her. By my third cast I was starting to stretch out a bit. It did not feel good because I was wobblie when they took my cast off.

Blog post six cast number two - taking off the cast

Putting on a cast is pretty easy. Some people are really scared of having casts taken off. Larry takes my casts off. He uses this ->

I was not scared. Because he even showed me it didn't cut through your skin. I even felt the blade of the saw. The saw only vibrates. It does not cut though skin (just to make sure your paying attention).

For my second cast I had red and orange. Here they are with Millie my dog. I also have my boots on. They are blue. They are used to protect the bottom of my cast from getting wet on the ground. Also avoid slippery spots, just like wood floors.
